9-5-2019 As the Raiders make a decision regarding the future of receiver Antonio Brown, there’s a chance he ultimately will receive not a Dime of the new contract he signed with the Raiders in March.

PFT has obtained an analyzed a full copy of the contract. The $1 million signing bonus contained in the deal actually took the form of a pair of guaranteed $500,000 workout bonuses for 2019 and 2020. The 2019 payment nevertheless hinged upon Brown participating in at least 85 % of the 2019 offseason program. Antonio Brown’s time with the Oakland Raiders could be moving to an end, which has led to questions about the wide receiver’s playing future. Brown forced his way out of Pittsburgh, and the belief was he wanted a new team and new contract. He got both of those things and still has been problematic. He has not participated in training camp to the extent the Raiders have wanted, and he spent much of his time fighting the NFL helmet rule. After getting fined by the team, he blasted the Raider organization and got into it with GM Mike Mayock. Brown’s behavior has led to legitimate questions about whether he even wants to keep playing football.
